resuplay lets you publish a video resume: short clips of you talking about your experience, alongside your written resume, at one link you choose. This page explains, in plain language, what we store and what you control.
What we store
- Your account: your email address and a securely stored (hashed) password. We never see or store your password itself.
- What you add to your page: your name, headline, location, contact email, LinkedIn link, about text, skills, education, resume entries and an optional resume PDF.
- Your videos: the clips you record or upload, plus captions generated automatically from their audio.
- Feedback you choose to send us from your dashboard.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t show ads.
Who can see your page
- While your page is hidden (not published), only you can see it.
- Once you publish, anyone with your link can watch your clips and read your page, including the contact details you chose to add. Search engines may also find it. You can unpublish at any time from your dashboard menu.
Services we use
To run resuplay, your information is processed by a few trusted providers:
- Supabase: accounts, page information and resume PDFs.
- Mux: storing, streaming and captioning your videos.
- Vercel: hosting the website.
- Resend: sending account emails, like password resets.
Deleting your data
You can delete everything at any time: in your dashboard, open the menu (your initials, top right), choose Account & password, then Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, page, resume entries, PDF and all your videos. It can’t be undone.
To delete a single video, use the trash icon next to it in your dashboard. To take your page offline without deleting anything, choose Unpublish page.
